Ara Aroustamian, Esq. is a UCLA (BA) and Pepperdine University School of Law (JD) graduate, currently leading his own practice in the greater Glendale and Los Angeles areas, serving a local and global community of clients.
With more than 30 years experience in the probate, wills, and trusts field, and extensive litigation experience, Mr. Aroustamian occupies a unique position specializing in probate litigation.
He has been able to secure tens of millions of dollars for victims of personal injury and other tort cases, as well as generating successful outcomes in appellate court matters, with two published cases to his credit.
Mr. Aroustamian has also pursued police misconduct and brutality cases in federal court resulting in successful settlements and has completed more than 40 jury trials. He has served as an Assessment Appeals Board Commissioner in the County of Los Angeles and a Judge Pro Tem with the Los Angeles County Superior Court for more than 15 years.
Mr. Aroustamian represented more than 400 individual clients against the Grandview Cemetery in related cases to a class action successfully garnering his clients the highest individual settlements possible.
Mr. Aroustamian also successfully defended a foreign civil defendant in US Federal Court, in the Northern District of California, during a demanding two week jury trial, with a subsequent two years of post trial motions, in which the plaintiffs sought a whopping $6 million in damages against his client.
In this case, he was able to garner a impressive judgement in the matter slashing the $6 million plaintiff's target figure to a mere $72,000 monetary judgement.
In 1995, he was appointed as Commissioner to the Board of Los Angeles County Capital Asset Leasing Corporation and is a member of several local and national professional and cultural organizations, as well as having served on the founding Board of Directors for an International Children's Charitable Organization.
